EC taskforce report

A report in today's Australian Financial Review  (p.5 'Australia warned of tax
evasion from cyberspace') details some of the findings from "the Electronic 
Commerce Task Force of the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Board". 

As I reported last year in 'Electronic Commerce Report' CLEB delegated the job
to AUSTRAC.

Apparently they completed their report in November, but it was embargoed until
last week, when the embargo was lifted to allow it to be discussed before a 
hearing of the Parliamentary Committee oversighting the National Crime 
Authority.

A transcript of those proceedings should now be available on the parliamentary
committee's web site at www.agps.gov.au.
