I can't find any online info about timed data calls, but I did find this
in Alston's speech to the National Press Club:
"The universal service obligation arrangements will continue. This will
mean that rural and regional Australians will
continue to get the same
standard of service as today, at prices no
higher than today. "
How can he have it both ways? Does the press have the report wrong?
BTW, the SMH didn't put the story on their web pages, either.
