New RMIT study out. Says Australia will miss out on the online revolution
if the positives of the net aren't identified in a public ed campaign
similar to decimal conversion and AIDS campaign.

regulating

Too bad the spokesman didn't get the point. The scare campaign is keeping
people off, not the lack of filtering software which is just one more
piece of techno-babble that busy parents would need to deal with. It's
easier to stay out than to mess around with the supposed consequences of
such a mean and nasty place if you believe the current government's
priorities for 'regulation'.
