HIGH-TECH ON THE MONEY
It's a good time to be an entrepreneur. Venture capital investment in the US
for the second quarter of 1998 was a record $3.7 billion, 26% up
on the same time last year, according to   PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Technology is propelling the
growth, with  Silicon Valley ventures getting   an unprecedented
one-third of all venture capital nationally. See
