The following is a (partial) re-post from iamems (ISOC-AU):
The latest IANA proposals for a new Internet Corporation for Assigned
Names and Numbers (dated 2 October) are at:
http://www.iana.org/submitted/sub-contents.html
A person from each of The Netherlands, Japan and Spain joined several
Americans in expressing support for transmission of the document to the
U.S. Department of Commerce. Is this sufficient evidence of the consensus
that it was anticipated that the end-result would enjoy?
[I stress that I haven't been involved, and haven't properly read the
document, let alone evaluated it; and hence have no personal views right
now]
