CND and the TIO

In its regular column in The Australian today, the Telecomms Industry
Ombudsman says that "The small number of calls to the TIO about this matter
would seem to indicate it is not a major problem".

With all that's been said on lists, and the serious criticisms levelled at
Telstra and the Minister in ACIF and other fora, that "would seem to" be
pretty disingenuous and unhelpful.  (As if 1-800 calls are *the* way to
find out what the public thinks!!!).

Alright, let's assume that this is a plea by TIO for some active input, so
that they can take action on the matter.

So it might be a good idea if we let them know otherwise:
