i really wonder if these pundits read a damn thing they write. of course, they
mean that the internet will carry the bookings, not the people. or is it going
to replace movement as well? It reminds me of a quote from Theodore Sturgeon:
"One day, mankind will evolve into a finger, and anytime the finger wants
anything it will press a button, and that will be the end of mankind because the
finger will get too damn lazy to press the button."
May I also say to the Linkers, to clear up a confusion, that it was I and not
Rick W who was guilty of intellectual snobbery in saying "half the world is
below median intelligence".
