Adding to the confusion of last week's article, The Australian is basically
sticking to its story, now quoting the Minister's office.

Does anybody know what's really going on?  More importantly, will anybody
speak up?

THE untamed frontier of the Internet is about to be colonised by the long
arm of the law. 

Australia's 600-plus Internet service providers are at the centre of a
legislative debate that will be vital for the future of the Net. 

At worst, they could become responsible for all the content distributed
through their computers, including illegal pornography, money scams and
defamatory material.
