Dear linkers

I was reading the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission's (HREOC)
Issues Paper from its Rural and Remote Education Inquiry and was interested
to note that the ACS has set out a framework for the development of
information technology in schools. There are 4 stages mentioned in the
HREOC issues paper.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of that document and can anyone
refer me to a contact for further information.

Also I am interested in what plans the states and territories have for
introducing information technology into their schools and vocational
education and training institutions. I have the SA DECStech 1997-2001 plan
but does anyone one know where I can get a hold of any others - URLs would
be very helpful.

What about the private and Catholic education systems and the Australian
Council for Private Education and Training - does anyone know if they have
any plans - again I'd be grateful of the URLs and any contacts.
