I've corresponded with two people over the years through lists where I made
a mistake as to their gender. One was Kimberly, the other Iris. One I
judged to be overly agressive until I found they were male and was then
astonished to discover that I DID colour my judgements on what people said
on the basis of perceived gender. What I though was fair comment from a
male was aggression if said by a female. I was nonplussed.
I learnt something about me :-(
Bugger.
