Mechanisms for this? Maybe -

Set up a mailing list which consists of known participants so that they can
be contacted?

Moderated Email list of press contacts where comments on press reports can
be sent?

Get printed papers, scan and ocr them and mount them on the web with
annotations?

Set up commentary web sites?

Physically picket the meeting with digital cameras etc?
