SONY-INTEL LOOK AT HOME NETWORKS
Sony confirmed today it was in talks with Intel, the giant chip maker, about
joining efforts to develop new home appliance networks. The Jiji news agency
reports the two firms plan to develop technologies allowing easy transmission
of visual images between PCs and digital home appliances  and work on consumer
appliances using Sony's Memory Stick.
