MICROSOFT DENIES BUGS...
Microsoft says media reports that Windows 2000 contains over 63,000 defects
are inaccurate. The company defends its quality control (but avoids saying
there are NO bugs) at

...AND FREE SOURCE CODE
Bill Gates is also denying he will open up Win2000 source code to rivals in
order to settle the antitrust case. Bloomberg News said Gates made the
statement after a TV interview, in answer to a question Microsoft is now
vigorously denying the report: "We've talked to Bill, and Bill said he never
said that . . . All he said was we would try to do our best to settle this
case."
Bloomberg says its story is accurate.
