I've yet to uncover any examples of R- or X-rated online content: all the
formal classifications of Net content that I know of have been either RC
or "not prohibited". (Though overseas content that is "not prohibited"
could be R-rated.)

I suspect that it's impossible for purely textual content to be X-rated,
since one can hardly have "real" (as opposed to "simulated") sex in
text. But I'm curious to know what kind of texts will get R-ratings.

[ Someone else will have to report all the pictorial porn. I don't have
much time for images (rarely bother to load them) and I joke sometimes
that I think in 7-bit ascii. Prohibited ascii art, anyone? ]
