I see a report in the Melb Herald Sun that the feral govt, having
collected data from businesses registering for their ABN, are now going to
sell that data at $20 per record.

With an estimate of 2.5M businesses registered for ABN that represents
$50M per copy of the entire db.

I thought the Privacy Act was supposed to prevent this sort of thing, or
do we have a govt who are so unethical, unscrupulous and brazen that they
consider themselves to be above the law.

Howard.
