Though business and company registration is public information, it does
add a twist to the whole situation. I presume that they justify it based
on the 'cost' of maintaining the database of information. But $20 a record
seems to be flat-out profiteering. Given that the government has brought
about this change, it is unjustifiable that they should invoke a
user-pays strategy when it comes to supplying the information that is the
property of the community.
