I thought that the UN System For National Accounts defined GDP in terms of
all economic activity, good or bad (ie an oil spill - a bad thing for the
community - because it results in money being spent, is seen as good).
Therefore, money laundering, because it is an economic activity where money
changes hands, should be counted in GDP.
I'm guessing here - does anyone know for sure?
