[LINK] Link archive and index

The index to the link archives has been broken for some time and a 
new index is now operating. It does not operate in the same way as 
the previous software.

The index to the link list is provided by the P@NOPTIC search engine 
(formerly S@anity). Detailed help is available for the syntax used by 
this search engine.

Some examples of how this works are -

* richard alston
	will find postings with either word or both.

* "richard alston"
	will find postings containing the string "Richard Alston"

* ecommerce richard +alston
	all results will have "alston" and may contain either or both 
of the other two words.

* [minister richard] +alston
	this will find alston with minister or with richard.

* Add +1999 to a search
	This will limit results to postings which were made in 1999 
or mention 1999.

* Add [jan feb mar] +1997
	will limit results to postings made in the first three months 
of 1997 and anything posted in that year by Jan Whitaker!.
