When will people apply the necessary patches to have secure
systems?

Anyone have an estimate on the number of patches required to
secure the following out of the box?

(*) Win95
(*) Win98
(*) Win NT/4.0
(*) Win 2000

I do not ask this for *nix users, since part of that culture
is to respond to, download and install security updates
on a regular basis. Of course, this will change as the
great masses move away from Windoze to *nix platforms
as they become more accessible.
