BILL'S VISION
Bill Gates today shared his vision of the Internet's future with the
Microsoft Tech-Ed conference in Florida. It's not exactly earth
shattering - the next phase of the Internet will let you gather
information from multiple places and control the manner and timing of
how you receive it. Naturally, Microsoft wants to be there, and Bill
will provide $2 billion over three years for education and support
programs for software developers to help expand Microsoft's new
technology. He also demonstrated two new tools coming soon - BizTech
Orchestration to help e-commerce, and Visual Studio to make Web
applications. Microsoft's upcoming Biztalk Server 2000 is the first
in its Next Generation Windows Services architecture. See
