The difference is here the ISP is the "Manager" of the Infrastructure, not
the owner. If it breaks the customer places a fault report with the ISP,
the ISP places the fault report with Telstra.
Not unlike most carriers who resell the telstra services already do. But
the ISP COnsortium will have one more benefit, it can pay through it's
revenue's a fee for 1 hours response times and better level sof service
under a contract that causes those fees to be refunded or credited if
Telstra fails to meet it's goals under the contract.
It's called building power, but then, I've seen many of my project concepts
rtied by others and fail dismally. SOmething about me personally I think.
AS to my supposed agenda with Telstra, well today I gave Telstra
heaps. ONe of my phone numbers has been billed for mysterious calls to a
phone line managed by another Service Provider (TElco) and of course
Telstra can't tell me what the B end number is.
Strangely enough we have nothing plugged into the line at this end. So
who's been using the phone line?
I guess we'll find out now that we have monitoring equipment in place and
the lines have been checked. I wonder if it's just been fixed today and
it's all over?
Needless to say this line was one of the Half Price Additional lines I
ordered in March and had a debate with Telstra over. End result now is I'm
getting the Install credited, 6 months rental and all call charges revoked
until the problem is solved.
Shame I'm an honest person and won't actually use the line to call the USA
for a few hours.
So, no, I'm not on a Telstra agenda, I'm on an Improve the Country agenda,
but seems others are on an Improve Self Worth agenda. You can do both
together, but you can't do one without the other.
