My last message got rejected by mcom.com.au's content filters because it
contained a naughty word ... humourously, the filter sent it back to me, telling
me that my message was rejected because it contained the word s^^t
Of course, if my company were running an incoming filter, it would have sent a
reject message back to mcom.com.au explaining that its message was rejected
because it contained the word s^^t; and mcom.com.au would have respnded that ...
you get the picture.
This syndrome is called regressive filtritis, and will be responsible for a
total collapse of the Internet sometime soon as every filter in the world starts
trying to tell every other filter in the world that they're rejecting each
others' messages because they contain the word s^^t ...
