And yet the Minister has said as much on "Sunday" and DCITA's
spokesperson was quoted on page 1 some months back by an
incredulous "Australian" with the 'if it looks like TV it will
be regulated by TV' quote when asked about Internet content.
I'm not doubting that the department's view may have changed.
But I am very displeased with their current "policy by press release"
strategy where determining the Minister's and Department's view
becomes akin to tealeaf reading.
It makes planning almost impossible. And without planning there
can be no business case made and no investment sought.
