And the sad thing is Adam,..... you think you're being really aware,
non-sexist and pro woman! (I'm leaving the brain shrinkage comment
alone!!!!)

Let's not make assumptions about women around the world based on your
microcosmic personal experience! Think about it for a second.......would you
like it if we pigeon-holed you??

I'm sorry but lets forget about the 1st year psychology theories and be real
for a second - Women, just like men are capable of all sorts of amazing (and
sometimes not so amazing) things.

Some women, like some men are good at the management of money. Some women,
just like some men are capable of logical processes. Some women, like some
men are good at running a household. Some women, just like some men are
fantastic at technical processes. Some women, just like some men are great
parents. Some women, just like some men are great business managers. And
many many many men AND women stink at all these things too!!

And then.......you condescendingly tell us poor sad creatures who are
dropping our logical ability for the warm fuzzies that we shouldn't worry
about it too much........

PUH-leeeez! Far exceeding men's management skills aint got nothing to do
with it.....Men prefer to see women in 'nurturing' roles - it's less
threatening to them!!! So go on, pigeon hole us some more!!

And you know what????? Us girls are really getting sick of being the ones
standing behind those so called 'successful men'....when are you lot gonna
stand at the back of the line?????

Karl is right:

>I feel that the stereotypes you have presented are in fact at the root of
>the problems which cause alot of gender inequality.
