This story then asks the question, can drugs be purchased legitimately
online?

For a busy person, the time taken out of a day due to a doctors
consultation is already about an hour or sometimes even two. This is
usually followed by a trip to the pharmacy, which usually requires a
return visit later in the day. It all adds up to more time.

I remember when i was younger it was possible to drop your prescription
in a box on the surgery receptionists' counter, and presto! the
prescription was delivered that evening. I haven't seen any such services
lately.

With doctors providing computer generated prescriptions it should be
possible to place an order online to the pharmicist of my choice, with a
prescription number or similar, and have it delivered.

So are there any good reasons why this isn't happening yet?
