"An Intel spokesman said he could see no obvious way round
the problem as including the necessary system files to make
a boot floppy would put Intel in breach of Microsoft's
copyright. "
What about the breach of marketplace responsibility?
It's like Ford suddenly shipping cars with non-replaceable
headlights or distributors ... and expecting narry a whimper
from the marketplace.
What really astonishes me is just that: MS continues to pull
these beaut tactics (remember the disk-less distribution
snafu a few months back?) without any accountability.
*nix anyone?
