THE FUTURE ACCORDINING TO CARLY
Medieval scholar and boss of Hewlett Packard, Carly Fiorina, says the Net is
pushing the world towards a second Renaissance. Giving a keynote address at
Comdex, she said a digital Renaissance was possible if people changed the way
they think. She believes the Internet is evolving in five ways:  as a personal
  creativity net, a business transformation net, a mobile net, a do-it-for-me
net, and an empowering net. See
