I don't know why they stopped at a Viewrinal. They should have gone the
whole hog and built an arsenal.

A super loo is set to make a splash when we spend a penny with the
invention of the new Viewrinal.

The toilets have built-in video screens linked to the web so the call of
nature can be combined with surfing the internet. Hundreds of the new
interactive WCs will bowl over customers in nightclubs, restaurants and
pubs.

Each will be linked to the internet, showing information, adverts and
promotions and the screens can show music videos with complete surround
sound.

The toilets contain a sensor to record the number of times each
advertisement is viewed, providing advertisers with precise results.

"This is the future of toilets, the bog standard washroom is history," said
Richard Cobbold, sales director of Digital View, who make the Viewrinal.

"The Viewrinal adds a whole new dimension to the call of nature. We have a
captive audience for maybe, 30 seconds - we've all got to go so we're bound
to catch you all at some point. We are literally flushed with success."

And for the ladies, Viewloos, are to be installed in the public areas of
toilets - so queueing won't be so boring.

The Viewrinal is a joint venture between Digital View, who make the
screens, and EMJ Plastics Ltd - who make the urinal part.
