Indeed.  The only reason I have a .au domain for my personal site is
that I managed to wangle danny.oz.au.  If it hadn't been for that,
I would have gone with dannyyee.org or something like that, and I'd
have had to pay another $70 + ongoing to NSI.

Given that much of my content (notably the censorshop, bushwalking,
and gamelan sections) is Australia-specific, I greatly prefer to be
in .au, so that "Australian" search engines will index my site.
