Telstra had a great service called FOLDS (Fax On Line Diagnostic Service) so
I assume MOLDS is the Modem equivalent.
FOLDS was a number you faxed and it ran a complex and complete series of
diagnostics and faxed back a report laying it all out. It was a terrific
service. The number to call was (03) 9640-0999. This was like 10 years ago.
For all I know, it might still be working.
I guess with MOLDS you dial into 132203 and all sorts of diagnostics are
run, S/N ratios, jitter, phase distortion, eye patterns etc etc and a report
is produced for diagnosis.
Never heard of it before so I can't offer more. I will try it when I get a
