NEW ENCRYPTION CHOSEN
After 23 years, the US government has chosen a new encryption standard.
It's picked Rijndael (pronounced Rhine-doll) created by two Belgian
cryptographers, who beat heavies such as RSA and IBM. Rijndael will
become a standard for government agencies, and is expected to be widely
adopted by private enterprise. The US National Institute of Standards and
Technology said it picked the Rijndael algorithm because of its low memory,
easy access to parallelism, speed and ease of implementation. See

On Aboriginal Policy
"And if governments will not act, then this is a matter on which
people must act to secure a government that will. The dignity and
self esteem of Australia at some point will demand it."
