newsletter gives you a unique take on today's most pressing public
interest–oriented Internet issues through the eyes of leading
experts, scholars, and researchers. 

Twice a month in our email newsletter (mirrored on our website), we
feature reports from our widely scattered team of correspondents, and
interviews with those involved in the evolution of the Net in
politics, law and policy, culture and media. The newsletter will also
feature letters and essays from readers, creating a truly interactive
and publicly accessible publication. 

Soon, we will introduce The Filter's discussion forums, in which you
may participate by email or on the Web. 

With The Filter, we hope to foster a useful space in which the public
can discuss the events and ideas arising from the evolution of
technology in our societies.
