http://www.melbourne.indymedia.org

This is a highly structured, seemingly well organised web site.

"Everyone is a witness. Everyone is a journalist."

Everyone can comment on the pictures and stories, anonymously, including
those who write such things as: "Hey this is crap.. so what some loser
gets smashed by a copper hahaha Get over it fuckers."

The site is hosted in Colarodo.

The php language is used for all pages. This is a form of HTML with
embedded C++like programming commands in it - especially suitable for
creating HTML on the fly according to the contents of databases.

  http://www.php.net

So there is probably no HTML to write as the site is updated - just
things to be added to the database which are then automatically built
into the appropriate web pages.

It is part of a network of 27 such sites in other parts of the world -
all with a similar structure and presumably .php and database
arrangements.

There is video and audio (in realaudio/realvideo) formats too. So it is
an instantly updateable, global, DIY TV/radio station too.
