Here is the direct URL for PayPal: http://www.x.com/
As an occasional eBayer, I am painfully aware that PayPal is attractive to
its subscribers because both parties in a transaction get $5 the first time
they use it. Unless something changed in the last fortnight, PayPal does
not accept non-US subscribers and their sign-up form still has the country
hardwired as "US". (I said "painfully" because I have had to use BidPay to
get a US money order at $5 a pop. Not many eBayers use Billpoint, which we
Aussies can use.)
Perhaps I missed something, but this scheme only seems to benefit people
with a US mailing address. How is it encouraging .au e-commerce?
