Just to clarify the record a bit. I just got back to Awe-stralia [ :-)]
from the US. My credit union there has all the ebanking you could want. I
had direct deposit of my paycheck back in the mid 80s, no problem. Now the
transfers amongst all types of accounts can be set up quite easily,
including direct debits, etc. which is how I pay my ISP over there.
The US isn't quite as '3rd world' as Alistair paints!
PS: whose name has been mispelt so many different ways in the US and Oz to
give up expecting anything different!
