It has been suggested that the mysterious Michael Reardon of the

Mr Reardon's response to my polite inquiry "Are you the Michael
Reardon referred to in the Humphry Report?"

was:

Assuming he hasn't just forgotten, it looks like it's not him.
Any other suggestions?
