Running lists is no big deal. It just need somebody prepared to do 
it. Besides link, I run an announcement list ozlib-announce with 650 
members using autoshare, free list software with a web interface, 
running on an old Macintosh down a phone line from my home. I'd be 
happy to run lists for causes I liked as long as the traffic didn't 
exceed a few meg per day. When Transact comes to my suburb I might be 
able to do more if they change their annoying asymmetric traffic 
offering.
