I don't understand how a virus can take out a mail server... it
should just be forwarding mail, not opening any of it and executing
the contents. If it's the sheer volume of messages generated by the
virus causing problems, it should be possible to use the mail transport
resource and rate controls to stop that. (I would have thought this
would already be implemented as part of anti-spam controls.)
