Since this is about GST implementation, I'll share something else that is 
going on where this may fit.  The Labor Party is holding an inquiry about 
the BAS etc.  I had sent a suggestion to Crean/Beazley which was forwarded 
to Kelvin Thompson's group which is holding the inquiry.  Perhaps they 
would be interested in the comments about this reneging on providing proper 
software.

Unfortunately the public statement document I was sent today is not listed 
as being on a website anywhere.  Maybe there is more info on Labor's

Anyway, the email that accompanied the statement indicated that the inquiry 
was ongoing with no identified ending date.
