I plead some limited guilt in this matter, because I've advised a number of
agencies (primarily Commonwealth, but also in some States) on various
aspects of electronic services delivery.  Needless to say, some have
listened more than others;  and my advice has been mainly to do with
strategy and architecture rather than the fine detail of the designs or the
user interfaces ...

One that I've had a bit to do with is the Business Entry Point.

I'll add another grizzle.

Yesterday I spent some time trying to fathom out:
-   how land-use zoning works in N.S.W.;
-   what Rural 1(c) and Residential 2(a1) actually mean:
    -   generally (because I understand it to be essentially State law);  and
    -   in the specific context of one particular Council area.

I failed.

Successive NSW government and local Council sites turned up nothing, the
webmaster I approached gave me a skilfully empty couple of paragraphs with
no information, and even the librarian in the most apparently relevant
Department couldn't provide any leads on the web (although she did suggest
one book that might get me on my way).

The Business Entry Point has a segment on
		Business premises
			Furniture and equipment
			Leasing
			Services
but I can't see any sign of purchasing, nor of zoning, not even of
industrial land, let alone land for commercial and residential purposes,
that a developer would want.
