[LINK] Any browser campaign

There is lots of good advice on the anybrowser site, but the logic seems to
be back to front to me. It is a logical absurdity to try to design sites
that are compatible with an unknown number of browsers of arbitrary
characteristics. Sites should be designed to generate HTML to certain
specified version(s) and browsers should state what versions of HTML /
Javascript / Java etc they support. Then you have a reasonably smalll
number of validation checks to run and a reference point if a certain page
does not display properly on a certain browser.

I know its not quite this simple in practice but I think the principle
makes more sense.
