Don't know about modifying my values but I am utterly sick to death of
designer job-protection schemes leading to crap sites. Maybe I do need to
modify my values so my expectations aren't so high...

Oh, I see. You can get to Kate L's candidate's page through some links but
not others. So if you go via the "list all candidates" option, there she is;
but if you go via the listing of women, you get the error above. So is there
a Liberal staffer on the design team?
