Point taken Danny, however when I assess my sites for accessibility,
functionality, etc. I do browse with various limits as you mention - indeed
there's guidelines for all of these things (including WAI guidelines, State
Gov't Website Guidelines, etc) which I do my best to enforce. My day to day
browsing I do with the latest "all bells" versions of browsers, for speed,
aesthetics and because I like to see what's being done.

Unlike many LINK commentators, I happen to think Flash definitely has a
place, and while it may not be "_the_ future", I reckon it's _part_ of "the
future" of Web design, for many good reasons.

Regards

Jeff

Surely if you are developing web sites, you need to think about what
the people visiting them will see -- ie, you need to look at them in
all kinds of browsers, including ones without images, Javascript, and
Flash as well as ones with all those things. How a site's designers
intended it to look may be interesting if you're working with them
on that site, but otherwise it's rather uninteresting.
