Karl, Link,
you'd actually be suprised at how flexible Telstra's system actually is.
try saying "yeah mate" instead of "yes", or even "bullcrap" instead of
"no" - at least in my case it still understood my intent, however it
didn't understand "bugger off a let me speak to a human".
when i attempted to speak slowly and clearly as if to a person hard of
unerstanding, it didn't correctly interpret my speech.
I would certainly treat a human with more respect and use better language.
At the end of the day, give me high-touch rather than high-tech anytime.
(eg speak to a human who operates a computer, rather than me having to do
it myself)
Regards
Karl
