Well there is the National Libraries Electronic Australiana page
http://www.nla.gov.au/oz/
There search engine page is at
http://www.nla.gov.au/pathways/pthw_global.html which has a
specifically Australian section.
Most research libraries would have a page like Berkeley's. For
instance ANU's is at http://anulib.anu.edu.au/elibrary/search.html
