Yes. There is quite a difference between "number of instances of Apache web
sites" and "number of servers running Apache".
This is because one web server running Apache can host thousands of
web sites, using virtual hosting. This is very common, much more common
than with IIS.
The 60% market share of Apache might translate to about 40% of the
physical servers out there in cyberpsace. This translates into a lower
TCO for web services using Linux and Apache.
