Happy Days.
I remember a Tany sales droid telling me I could run my entire stock
control (of 30,000 lines) on a Tandy 35K drive.
...and the big Wang "washing machine" disk drives that used to migrate
across the floor each month end when the head thrashing got excessive.
...and the massively segmented COBOL programs I used to run in 64K under
CPM.
...and the half inch tape drive that used a standard Hoover vac motor to
get the suction.
...and paying $1,000 for a 16Mb SIMM stick (were we being ripped off or
what)
