The private network version could assist in Absentee voting -
eliminating the need to distribute forms outside the electorate and
possibly providing access to How to Vote flyers. I recall once trying to
vote outside my electorate but still within NSW. Imagine what its like
at the polling booth in London!
As far as online voting goes, the institution of the polling place and
shouldn't be undervalued as part of the democratic process. The
Leichhardt Public School is holding a fete on the day - it is quite
often a rare opportunity for all members of a neighbourhood to come
