When I read the original point I had a similar thought, Greg.  But the 
problem with the later is that often there are limited options - i.e. 
pseudo monopolies like utilities and comms and immediate referals that 
can't wait for shopping around for someone who is sane about respecting 
privacy. How many times have we been told: take it or leave it?
