In light of number of recent comments to the list about appalling web
sites, here's a timely column by Nielsen:

BTW, did anyone else notice that a number of IT news sites were running
full page flash ads for the XP launch on their home pages, which had no
"skip intro" links?
As someone who doesn't usually have a "flash plugin" installed, this meant
that I was unable to access any news, as the sites appeared to require
flash to navigate beyond the advertisement.
